Description:Ban Ho Village, Ban Ho is worth the somewhat difficult journey to get there, as the village rewards visitors with stunning views of unspoiled sites and an opportunity to discover the daily activities of the ethnic people Tay. On the way to the waterfalls, which were named by locals after seeing fish jumping out of the water in the old days, visitors will pass brooks gently running down bamboo cylinders that locals use to channel the water into their terraced paddy fields, wooden houses perched on the sides of rolling hills and wild flowers.
Get started: Our bus and guide pick up you at your hotel (in Hanoi Old Quarter area) and takes you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to get to Laocai Station. You will have a good sleep on soft bed, aircondition train.
Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B;L;D) Arriving in Lao Cai Station at 6.00 am, you will be picked up by our guide for transfer to Sapa for breakfast and relax. After breakfast, we will start our trekking tour to Y Linh Ho and then Lao Chai Village of the Dzay minority. View from air, Lao Chai lies in between mountains and grass hills, with houses that look like colossal mushrooms on all sides, at 2,660m above the sea-level. Visitors to the village are able to enjoy the traditional music of boys and girls playing the game ‘hire and seek in a blanket’ and exchange songs overnight even after the festival, the boy can bring the girl they played with to their home and marry her. In this village which you will have a welcome feeling at any house of the hospitable people there. You can interact with them, learn about their culture and customs.
We will have lunch at Lao Chai, following by free discovery around the village. Then we will visit Ta Van Village of the Red Dzao. Ta Van is a small village set within a picturesque valley of Muong Hoa. Ta Van village is set within a picturesque valley with amazing natural landscape and friendly local people. The area is well-known for its colorful ethnic minorities. Visiting Ta Van Village will be an unforgettable experience, since you will have a chance to witness the special cultural characteristics of local people. Overnight and dinner at homestay.
Day 2: Sapa – Ban Ho – Thanh Phu – Sin Chai (B, L, D)Arriving in Lao Cai Station at 6.00 am, you will be picked up by our guide for transfer to Sapa for breakfast and relax.
Then, We will trek through the scenic valley of “Ban Ho”. This is a village of Tay ethnic minority. The Tay preserve a traditional and fairly developed agriculture with cultivation of all kinds of plants including rice, maize and sweet potato as well as seasonable fruit and vegetables. Then we continue walking
to Thanh Phu village where your lunch will be provided in a local house. After lunchtime, you head to Sin Chai village. This is a village of of Red Dao people. Dinner and overnight at the village.
Day 3: Sin Chai – Nam Nhiu – My Son – Nam Toong – Sapa (B, L, D) After breakfast, we start our day by walking downhill toward the My Son village which is inhabited by the Xa Pho ethnic minority, one of the smallest group’s ethnic in Northern Vietnam. After one and a half hours walk to the Red Dao village of Nam Toong, we bill stop for lunch.
In the afternoon, we continue our trip towards Ban Ho village where it will be possible to take a swim. Please check your guide’s advice before jumping on the water. Then our vehicle will transfer you back to Sapa from ban Ho. Have dinner and then transfer to Lao Cai station for the train to Hanoi.
