Description:Bac ha Market Nestled in the northern hills of Vietnam exists one of the best ethnic markets in all of Southeast Asia! On Sundays, the ethnic minorities from the surrounding villages and hills come by foot, by motorscooter, by horse, and by water buffalow for their chance to socialize, eat, drink, smoke, get a haircut, and buy produce and meat for the next week. It is a blur of colorful plaids and stripes

Get started:Our bus and guide pick up you at your hotel (in Hanoi Old Quarter area) and takes you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to get to Laocai Station. You will have a good sleep on soft bed, aircondition train.
DAY 01: LAO CAI – HAM RONG MOUNTAIN– CAT CAT – SAPA (B, L, D)
Arriving in Lao Cai Station at 6.00 am, you will be picked up by our guide for transfer to Sapa for breakfast and relax.
Then, we will walk up to Ham Rong Mountain with elevator steps. Ham Rong Mountain, which is situated in the center of Sapa town, is a remarkable tourist attraction. Shaped like a dragon’s head in the clouds, Ham Rong Mountain is nearly 2000 meters high with green trees and colorful flowers almost all year round. Most tourists visiting Sapa do the exciting climb up to the mountain. Recently, this tourist site has been upgraded, in which there will be traditional art performance show for tourists when visiting Ham Rong. Standing on the highest point of Ham Rong Mountain, tourists will have a breathtaking view over the romantic Sapa town.
Have lunch at restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will trek around Cat Cat Village of H’Mong Tribe in the valley, located at about 2km from Sapa Townlet, Sapa District. Visiting Cat Cat Village, you will have an opportunity to admire a lively and colorful picture. Cat Cat residents are not only good at the brocade weaving craft, but manipulating gold and silver jewelry. Their products are fairly sophisticated, especially jewelry for women. Beside the magnificient landscape, you can visit some local families to join with their traditional custom.
At 4.00 pm, we will move back to Sapa for dinner.

Day 2: Trek to visit Lao Chai – Ta van (B, L, D)Have breakfast before the trip starts. Drive to Y Linh Ho village and start trekking downhill to Muong Hoa Valley through rice paddies and small hamlets to learn the life of hill tribes here. Communication exchange with local people in Lao Chai village. Cook & have lunch at local family. After lunch, you will continue trekking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village settled by Dzay ethnic which is supposed to be the most beautiful village in the area. Have dinner and overnight at a local family in Ta Van – homestay of the Dzay people village or back to hotel in Sapa for overnight.
Day 3: SAPA – BAC HA MARKET (B, L, D) After having breakfast, you will travel by car to Bac Ha, which is 70km Northeast of Lao Cai. The ride is relatively flat from Lao Cai to Bao Nhai, where you will be taken through rural are. Situated in the mountains in border area, 20 km from Bac Ha, Can Cau is a small, but very colorful market. Opening only on Saturdays, it always delivers a very photogenic display of Flower Hmong, Nung, Phu La ethnic costumes.
After spending the whole morning exploring the market, you will leave the market for Bac Ha town for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a walk to Ban Pho village of Nung and Flower Hmong, which locates in a small valley. You will go back to Sapa for dinner at a local restaurant. Take the night train back to Hanoi
